Physical Appearance: Strider has large black patches around his eyes, ears, and across the body. She is about 75cm tall. She only weighs a small 275lbs. Even though her fur color gives her away in the city, it's good for the winter months when she has to hide. She has a thick woolly coat that easily protects her from most attacks from other bears. She does have strong jaw muscles, though, so she can easily fight back.
Personality: Being a Panda, Strider is always hungry and never stays in the same place. She does like to have a set territory and doesn't mind who comes into her land....unless it's another female. She loves to climb and will do anything she can to be able to climb up into a building. She usually is a solitary animal, but with all the recent events going on, she now likes being around other bears.
History: All the way in China, Strider's parents had been killed by a poacher after she was born. A few officials found her half-starved and sent her to get treatment. They then sent her away to America to this city to be in the local zoo. Since bamboo was scarce here, she was taught to eat other things like honey, eggs, fish, yams, leaves, oranges and bananas. Little did the zookeepers know was this food was perfect for when humans disappeared and Strider had to take care of herself. Strider became mad she had such little space to roam. Even though the zookeepers kept moving her inside and outside the main exhibit, she never really got to see something new. She never knew what happened that night when the humans disappeared, but she got free when an angry elephant got loose and started knocking down all the exhibits.
